The reducer belongs to the transmission device of the reaction kettle and is generally connected to the motor and stirring device for use. The types of reducers used in the reaction kettle include harmonic reducers, cycloidal pin tooth planetary reducers, two-stage gear reducers, and V-belt reducers. These reducers can be selected according to the production situation.

Harmonic reducer: a new type of mechanical transmission that utilizes planetary gears as flexible gears with low tooth difference and high speed ratio. Compared with other types of meshing, it has a simple structure, small volume, light weight, high speed ratio, high load-bearing capacity, smooth operation, and good sealing performance. Harmonic reducers do not require multi-stage transmission and are used in low-speed mixing transmission devices, which can be used in situations with explosion-proof requirements.
Cycloid needle gear planetary reducer: a reduction device that utilizes a small tooth difference internal meshing planetary transmission, resulting in a large reduction ratio, high transmission efficiency, compact structure, easy assembly and disassembly, long service life, high load-bearing capacity, stable operation, light weight, small size, and few faults. It has a tendency to replace turbine reducers. Cycloid planetary gear reducers have weak load-bearing capacity for overload and impact loads, and can withstand short-term overload of 75%. The starting torque is twice the rated torque, allowing for reverse rotation. They can be used in situations with explosion-proof requirements and are directly connected to the motor for supply. The allowable axial force can be calculated based on the bearing life of the shaft. Cycloid planetary gear reducers require the use of clamp type couplings.
Two stage gear reducer: It is a two-stage parallel flow helical gear reducer transmission device with the same center distance, accurate transmission ratio, and long service life. Within the same speed ratio range, compared to other transmissions, it has the advantages of small size, high efficiency, low manufacturing cost, simple structure, and convenient assembly and maintenance. Two stage gear reducers allow for reverse rotation and can be connected to the mixing shaft using clamp type couplings or elastic block couplings. They are not allowed to bear external axial loads or allow for small axial forces. They can be used in situations with explosion-proof requirements and are directly connected to the motor for supply
Triangle belt reducer: It is a single-stage triangular belt transmission reduction device with a simple structure. When overloaded, it will produce slipping phenomenon, which can provide safety protection. However, due to the sliding of the belt, it cannot maintain accurate transmission ratio. The V-belt reducer allows for reverse rotation and is connected to the mixing shaft using a clamp type coupling. The weight of the mixer and shaft is borne by the bearings of the machine and cannot be used in situations with explosion-proof requirements.
